  • Appointments can be rescheduled or cancelled up to 24 hours in advance. Deposits are non-refundable and apply only to the appointment booked

  • No! Most of our clients prefer no-contact appointments. As long as I have access via a lockbox, hidden spare key, or other clear entry instructions, I can deploy an retrieve the radon test without anyone needing to be home.

    I’ll send a reminder before both setup and pickup, and your report will be emailed within 24 hours of retrieval.

  • I occasionally offer next-day or urgent testing when availability allows. If you’re under a tight deadline, please contact me directly to check for rush service availability. Additional fees may apply.

  • Radon is a radioactive gas you can’t see or smell. It’s the second leading cause of lung cancer in the US. Testing is the only way to know if your home is safe.

  • Standard testing starts at $175. Urgent or multi-area testing is also available - see the pricing section above for full details

  • Test set up takes about 15 mins, the test itself runs for 48 hours. Your results are sent within 24 hours of pickup - often faster for urgent tests.

  • We primarily serve Montgomery County, but do offer the surrounding Maryland/DC metro area. A travel fee may apply outside 15 miles.

  • Yes - if you’re selling a single-family home in Montgomery County, radon testing, radon testing is required by law. Testing is also recommended after renovations or before renting.
